Moving Together Networking Event

YPT Boston is sponsoring the official post-Moving Together networking event! After the Moving Together conference on Thursday, October 30, 2014, join us for some beverages and free appetizers at M.J. O'Connors, just steps from the Park Plaza Hotel. The event will begin after the end of the Moving Together conference, but this event is open to all! Come have a drink, a snack, and a conversation with other professionals in transportation!

South Station Technical Tour

Wednesday, October 23, 4:00-5:30pm | South Station, Boston

Join YPT Boston on a technical tour of Boston's South Station! Built in 1899, historic South Station is Boston's biggest rail station and intercity bus terminal. Your tour guide will discuss geography of the area and focus on 19th and 20th century history as it affected Boston, highlighting the architecture, transportation and politics.

Please meet at 3:45PM directly across from the Station by the T kiosk on Summer St. Additional details may be provided in an email to attendees a day or two before the event.

The tour is limited to 25 attendees and is for YPT Members only. If you aren't a member, join today for just $20 (annual fee) by registering for this event! (Memberships are non-refundable.) All proceeds will support future YPT events. If you're not sure of your membership status, please go to "My YPT" and login to your account to find that information.

Distinguished Speaker Panel Event

Thursday, September 18, 2014 - 6:00-8:00 PM -- 10 Park Plaza

Join YPT Boston for our annual distinguished speaker series event featuring a panel of four women who are all administrators for federal transportation agencies here in New England. Hear about their journeys in the transportation field, opportunities and challenges to working in the federal transportation environment, and hear what they think are the next transportation trends and issues for the next generation.

You will hear from:
• Mary Beth Mello - Federal Transit Administration - Region 1 Administrator
• Pamela Stephenson - Federal Highway Administration - Massachusetts Division Administrator
• Amy Corbett - Federal Aviation Administration - New England Region Administrator
• Michelle Muhlanger - Federal Railroad Administration - Deputy Regional Administrator for Region 1

This event will be located in the 2nd floor conference rooms of the State Transportation Building. There is a $10 fee for non-members, but the event is free for members! A catered buffett style dinner will be provided. Attendees will be encouraged to gather at a nearby venue afterwards (location TBD) for drinks and networking.
